Fr. Ngema volunteered to do a presentation about our patron, St. John the Baptist, as part of our centennial celebration.

Sept. 27 first presentation

In the first presentation he wanted to ensure our understanding of his presentation was based on original sources. A large part of this first session was spent reading all the gospels that told the story of St. John the Baptist. He used the NABRE and extracted from all the gospels what was said about John. Where more that one gospel had the same story, he just used one of the gospels e.g. he only used the Matthew version of the baptism of Jesus.
