As we celebrate our centennial we had three priests in the St. Johns/St. David cluster
Fr. Thuong Haoi Nugyen
Fr. Thuong has been the pastor of St. Johns since 2011. He took on the additional duty of Pastoral Administrator of St. Davids when Bishop Barber clustered us at the beginning of 2025.
Fr. Thuong escaped from Vietnam as a teen. He attended St. Patrick’sin Seminary in Menlo Park and was ordained May 24, 19??
Fr. Chrisanttus Nakanda
Fr. Chrisanttus is from Buea Cameroon. He was ordained July 16, 2020 by Bishop Michael Miabesue Bibi. He is in residence with us while he studies at GTU. He completed his master degree and is currently working on his disertation for his doctorate
Fr. Joseph Tri Tran
Fr. Joe attended St. Patrick’s seminary. He was ordained May 17, 2002 at All Saints’ church in Hayward by bishop John Cummins.
