On her first apparition in Fatima on May 13 1917, Our Lady told the children that we should all “Pray the Rosary every day, in order to obtain peace for the world, and the end of the war.“

Sr. Lucia, the oldest of the three Fatima children, had been asked several times why Our Lady asked people to pay the rosary everyday instead of going to mass every day.
